William C. Snoberger, MA, earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. He has worked in the field of general practice of clinical psychology since 1988 and has been a WV Licensed Psychologist since 1994. In 2000, he established Mountain State Psychological Services, PLLC an independent mental health practice in Keyser, West Virginia. He is trained and experienced in psychological evaluations/testing, providing individual and family therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. He is trained as a special evaluator for children of sexual abuse. He had been a clinical supervisor since 1994. He has provided expert witness services in the form of competency evaluations and psychological evaluations related to mental hygiene hearings. An additional specialty area is evaluation individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Earlier in his career, he was the Clinical Director at a local community mental health center. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the West Virginia Association of Professional Psychologists.
April L. House, MS, earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg University, Frostburg, Maryland. She has been working in the field of general practice of counseling psychology since 1992. She has been a WV Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996, a WV Licensed Psychologist since 2022, certified as an Advance Alcohol Drug Counselor since 2002. Ms. House is also an “Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor” by the WV Board of Examiners for Counseling. Since 2000, she had been the clinical Director for MSPS, and independent mental health practice in Keyser, West Virginia. She is trained and experienced in psychological evaluations. Testing, providing individual and family therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. House has a specialty area associated with the treatment services to alcohol and in the treatment of adolescents with “At-Risk” and delinquent behaviors. Earlier in her career, she was the Regional Youth Specialist for a local community mental health center focusing on “At-Risk” youth and their families and sustain use/DUI therapist/ counselor. She is a member of West Virginia Association of Professional Psychologists.
Kristina S. Richmond, MS, earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia. In addition, Ms. Richmond is an “Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor” by the WV Board of Examiners for Counseling since 2021. Ms. Richmond is also the MSPS case Manager Supervisor. Since 2008, Ms. Richmond has provided individual, family and group therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults at MSPS.
Steven R. Amtower, MA, earned his Master’s degree in Counseling from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Mr. Amtower is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Mr. Amtower began his professional career as a school counselor within the Virginia school system. He has worked as a school counselor in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. Currently, Mr. Amtower provides individual, family and group therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults at MSPS. He also administers and interprets brief clinical screenings.
Amy L. Lindeman, BS, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. She has provided supportive services and clinical case management at MSPS since 2012. She is supervised by Kristina Richmond, MS/WV Licensed Professional Counselor/ALPPS. She works with the juvenile court and educational systems. Prior to working with the agency, Ms. Lindeman worked with adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities in a day treatment program.
